Trades, Accounts, your month at a glance, and more

The beta is open. Import your Tradovate exports and see every trade, every account and every day of your month, matching your broker to the cent.

If September had a theme, it would be the record itself: every trade matching your broker to the cent, every account kept whole when it ends, and a month you can read at a glance. It is also the month Run opened to its first traders, and this is what the beta starts with.

Every trade, matching your broker to the cent

A Tradovate export is four files and, in an active week, thousands of rows. Import all four and Run puts them back together: every trade grouped by the session it closed in, and every day’s net the number your broker shows for that day.

Each check is named as it runs, so you watch the import prove itself. After that, search by product, narrow to a date range or an account, and open any trade to see both of its fills and exactly when they happened.

Here’s how to get started:

  • Export Fills, Position History, Cash History and Orders from Tradovate
  • Import them from the first screen after you sign in, or from Accounts
  • Open Trades and pick any session

Run works from your Tradovate exports, so a new day of trading comes in as a new export.

Every account on one page

Most prop traders run more than one account at a time: an evaluation or two, a funded account, maybe a personal one. Accounts puts them side by side, each with its P&L over time. Prop firm accounts are recognised from their account numbers, and you can name any account the way you think of it.

When an evaluation passes or fails, mark how it ended. It stays on the page and keeps counting, so your record never gets shorter.

Here’s how to find it:

  • Open Accounts
  • Choose an account, then Edit to name it or to mark how it ended

Your month, one day at a time

A month is rarely decided by its total. It is decided by which days carried it and which gave it back.

Today opens on your net P&L and your last session, and underneath them sits the month: every day you traded, coloured by what it made. Step back through earlier months with the arrows, and open any month in Trades to see the sessions behind it.

Other updates

  • See where each import landed. The receipt lists every account a file touched, and opening one lets you name it on the spot.
  • A first look before your first import. Today, Accounts and Trades show an example of what they will hold, with one step to fill them.
  • Sign in with Google. Or with a one-time code sent to your email.
  • Settings. Set your display name, time zone and appearance. Download every trade as a CSV, or delete your account and everything in it.
  • Large files come back with a reason. An export over 4 MB is turned back with its size and what to do, so you can export a shorter range and upload it in parts.
  • Tabs load in their own shape. On a slow connection, the tab you click lights up at once and shows the outline of what is coming.
  • Your layout survives a reload. The sidebar and the summary panel stay open or closed the way you left them.
  • A calmer calendar. Each day now carries only its date and its net.

Tell us what you would like Run to do next at support@run.trading, and look out for next month’s update.
